Announcement: Bacteria detected in water

Due to the detection of bacteria in the water, restrooms and food courts at FACTORY and Futura Kraków shopping centers are operating on a limited basis. All shops in both facilities remain open.

In consultation with the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station (Sanepid) and the facility's water supplier, special procedures have been implemented to eliminate bacteria and ensure water is safe for consumption and washing. Restrooms are open, and special disinfectants are provided for hand washing. Drinking water in water tankers has also been taken care of.

In accordance with the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station's decision, until the bacteria are removed, the water on the premises:

• may not be consumed or used for food preparation;
• may not be used for washing fruit, vegetables, or kitchen utensils;
• may not be brushed or used for washing open wounds;
• may not be used for hand washing and bathing.
• The water may only be used for flushing toilets.

Bacteria detected in water can cause digestive and urinary tract problems in humans.
